Picture
O/A length 320mm (12 1/2") ,hollow ground, mirror polished Aldo's 52100 high carbon steel (used in ballbearings etc) at around 59-60 HRC ...bronze fittings, warthog spacers, carved Turkish walnut handle, copper pins ,Amethysts ,the snakes have stainless steel tongues and copper eyes (a bit of trivia, the guard and pommel are NOT cast, but actually carved from one solid piece...yeah I know, but I like doing things the hard way LOL)
The hand stitched leather sheath is covered in this beautiful snake skin that I've been saving 😉
The spine (swedge) is not sharpened but it wouldn't take much to put an edge on it, blade is ground with zero secondary bevel and it's razor sharp and pointy (have the scars to prove it LOL) ,the centre of balance is right at the guard, and for its size it's surprisingly light and fast.
As usual, it's 100% handmade (handheld tools only) ,original one of a kind with no repeats, will come with a wooden, shape moulded and felt lined case and a COA ,of course (and I guess I could also make a stand for it if desired)...oh,and also,it comes with a full comprehensive WIP (work in progress) album, "The making of" ,from start to finish, from raw pieces of material to finished piece...SOLD
